Mount Etna and Valle del Bove

The craters, ashes, lava flows, lava caves and the depression of the Bove valley, make Mount Etna a privileged destination. These are the reasons that led UNESCO to make our volcano a world heritage.

An indissoluble bond between Catania and Etna: the volcano dominates the city from above and redesigns the landscape and the landscape.

At night then, when the volcano is erupting, the view is particularly suggestive: the impressive river of lava that flows slowly along the walls of the mountain and the jets that spill out to illuminate the sky are a unique and unmissable spectacle, and winter, when the snow covers the entire landscape, it also becomes a well-equipped ski destination.

Reachable in 50 minutes by car by bus or by jeep with organized excursions.
